Accomplishments and Achievements

I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate from Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas. I also graduated number six in my class. I participated in Student Council (president), Junior World Affairs Council, Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence (president), National Honors Society, and Step Team throughout high school.

While attending Texas State University my first semester I managed a GPA of 2.9 and second semester a GPA of 2.5. I then continued my journey by applying to KTSW 89.9 FM the campus radio station and my most rewarding experience is having the opportunity to work at the radio station every Friday. I look forward to next year as I will continue to work at KTSW as an on air personality.

2012 Update:

I will be entering my second semester as a sophomore at Texas State University in San Marcos. I am also continuing to major in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media. I have been taking all of my core classes along with summer courses and doing outstanding on receiving the amount of credit hours I need to graduate. I now work for the on campus radio station KTSW 89.9 FM as a on air dj, producer, and assistant director for the program department. Being apart of the KTSW family has really opened my eyes to finding what I want to do once I graduate. Every day I learn something new and I am gradually becoming a better employee and an outstanding student at Texas State University.
